Fertility Acupuncture
A healthy pregnancy begins before the sperm meets the egg.
We’ve found in working with many fertility patients that a three month preparation timeline is helpful for conception. We also understand that life is, well, lifey. We’re here to support you through scenarios that land outside of that timeline. We support folks with all kinds of fertility, pregnancy, and post-partum needs. This includes males, females, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, single parents by choice, single parents not by choice, people assigned male or female at birth, and the full spectrum of humanity that walks through our door.
Please set up a 15 minute consultation if you have any questions. We’re also available by phone if you need more immediate assistance (510) 626-0455.

What You Can Expect
You can expect a general health history intake at your first appointment and approximately 45 minutes of acupuncture. Your first appointment will be 90 minutes. Each follow up appointment will be 50-60 minutes. Please come to your acupuncture appointment wearing loose clothing. It’s suggested to eat a small snack before receiving treatment. Plan to take it easy for the remainder of your day, after receiving acupuncture. The massage tables have paper covering them and we sanitize door handles, surfaces, and face cradles between patients.
Weekly acupuncture is the minimum recommendation in the treatment of infertility.
Twice weekly treatments are beneficial if:
→ you’ve been trying to conceive for over a year.
→ if you have a chronic health condition
→ if you are experiencing high stress
→ if you are working with an ART clinic and you
want to optimize your cycle.
If you’re undergoing IVF or ART, your acupuncturist will create a plan with you to assure you get treatment immediately before and immediately after your egg retrieval or embryo transfer.
Insurance Billing
We are an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans. We do not bill insurance for fertility services.
